With the addition of our full time office administrator - and our newest buyers agent that will represent a majority of our clientele in Ventura County, we have found that Connor (me) needed to have some more private time so the marketing could take grasp as it was in the past. That laser focused concentration so we can best provide our Relational Real Estate business model with our clients.

With my (old) office, we are going to turn that into a waiting room for our clients. It is a blessing that we are in need of a waiting room, but it is great that we have this opportunity to get one. The Secret

Quite often people approach me while I am in my office actively working to sell the listings that I have.

I have an open door policy and never discourage anyone from coming inside, taking a seat, and talking about how I do it, and how they can do the same. I am one of those that believe that there is enough business in the Real Estate market for everyone.

The questions have increased from before, when I was an active and full-time police officer. Now those that did not speak with me before, have now seen that I left a full time job, in which I was well respected. One in which I held instructor certifications in Glock, Shotgun ,handgun, Drug Recognition Expert Instruction, Radar/Laser, and IDAP, and in all of which, I trained the Officers of the LAPD and various other agencies from around the world (DRE).

“So Connor, what is your philosophy on becoming a successful Realtor?”

I tell everyone, that there is no secret sauce, or prayer, or marketing campaign, internet ad, publication, or dance step. It is just being consistent, persistent, and doing the same things each and everyday (schedule). So, have I made a mistake leaving an 80K+ career, guaranteed paycheck, benefits, with honor and respect by peers and citizens alike, for one that depends on a huge amount of uncontrollable factors???

I have not. I could not have, for I was the one that made the decision. If you understand that statement, you have arrived.
